Catch up from last week

So its been a week since i have posted and i must say that i didnt have the best or worst week last week. So i guess it was just ok. I made it to the gym 4 days of the week which is pretty good but my goal is 5 or 6 days a week. Also my eating was not the best and i was very bad about tracking my calories. i did have pretty good meals at dinner however i was not counting calories so i know that i was not eating the correct potions. That being said here is one of my healthy meals! it was so yummy! It was a chicken taco salas that had pinto beans, lettuce, tomatoes, green and red bell peppers, onions, and one crunched up taco shell. its pretty low in calories (i think under 300). This will defiantly become a regular dinner in our house. Oh i almost forgot it also had lime brown ice on it which is the same rice from chipotle but with brown rice not white. so very good!

As for the weekend... not good health wise, but I did have some positive things happen! First of all i went shopping for a new pair of jeans to wear to a night club and took a chance and went to Forever 21 to find jeans which I do not EVER try to do! i love that store for their shirts and accessories but have never tried on a pair of jeans for fear of the sizing being off and making me feel worse. Well i decided i would give it a try and im so glad i did! Just last week i found that i dropped a size so i was going to be ok with being one size bigger in the Forever 21 jeans but I wasnt!! I was the right size and they fit very nicely! THe next positive thing from the weekend was stepping out of my usually routine and connecting with an old friend and hanging out with a different group of people. Jarrett and I were invited to a surprise party for my best friend from high school that i have not been in touch with much. We were going to the house of a mutual friend then going to a night club/bar in roseville. I do not usually step out and hang out with people i not in touch with any more for fear of being awkward and not connecting any more. I also was very nervous about going to a club because I am not a dancer and being insure about myself i hate trying to get all dressed up and looking like the skinny girls that go to clubs. But feeling sexy in my new jeans and very confident we went and had a great time! I realized sitting with the same people on the weekends and not doing much was becoming a funk for us and stepping out of our comfort zone was the best idea to change things up! Not only did i feel great i danced a little too! I will post some pics in my next post.

Ok sorry this was such a long post! I look forward to a better week with eating, counting calories, and meeting my workout goals! I started off the week right with a great work out after work and now im going to bed so i can get up in the am and go before work! Goodnight!
